Saved money with annual plan

I was looking for a good solution for Product Updates and found LaunchNotes. I signed up for the annual plan right away to get that 20% off. It made the price much more reasonable and it feels like a solid investment for the features you get. Good value for sure.

Helpful, but small issue

We started using LaunchNotes for our Customer Notifications and the Analytics Dashboard. It's been really helpful for keeping our users informed, and the dashboard gives good insights into engagement. The setup was mostly simple, and the integration with Slack worked well. My only small gripe is that the custom domain setup felt a little more technical than I expected, though I got it working in the end. Good value for money, and customer service was responsive when I had a question about SSO.

Good for team updates

I set up the Internal Communications feature for my team last month. It was pretty easy to get going. Everyone seems to be on the same page with updates now. Definitely makes things smoother.

Solid features, easy setup

We needed a better way to handle Release Management and Product Updates. The ordering process was straightforward, just picked our plan online. Delivery of the service, meaning getting access, was immediate after payment. I dove into setting up the Announcement Bar and Email Notifications. It was pretty intuitive, and the documentation helped with a few specific questions I had. Quality of the platform seems high, it's responsive and everything loads quickly. Support was quick to answer a question I had about the Jira Integration too. Overall, a really positive experience and it does what it says it will do.

Consistent, reliable platform

I've been using LaunchNotes for a while now, primarily for our Public Status Pages and Release Notes. This last go-round for a new feature launch was as smooth as ever. The automated notifications always go out perfectly, and the Custom Branding just works. It's really consistent; I've never had any surprises with them. That reliability is why I keep coming back for our product communication needs.

Hey, wondering if anyone's tried integrating this with Jira before? Need something that plays nice with our dev team's workflow.

E Elena T. 2 months ago
Yeah, it integrates with Jira. Saw it on their site or in a demo I watched. Should be fine.

If I get this, can I use my own domain for the public pages or does it all live on their site?

J Julia 3 months ago
Yep, custom domains are definitely a feature. Makes it look way more professional.

You can! We use our own custom domain for our public status page. It's a standard feature.

what's the deal with coupon codes? is there a place to punch in a code if i find one?

C Cody 2 months ago
From what I understand, they don't really use coupon codes in the traditional sense. Most discounts are automatic for annual plans or special programs.

L Laura 2 months ago
Nah, I don't think they have a coupon code box. Their discounts are more like, just applied if you fit the criteria, like paying yearly.

My company is a new startup, just launched. Do they have any special pricing for new businesses like us?

B Brett Kim 2 months ago
I recall seeing something about a startup program or discount on their site. Worth checking out the pricing page.

Yeah, they do a startup discount. Don't know the specifics but it's listed as one of their discount options.

how does this compare to Productboard? We're currently using Productboard but looking for alternatives that might be a better fit for release comms.

J June G. 3 months ago
I've used both. LaunchNotes is way more focused on the communication and GTM stuff. Productboard is good for discovery but less so for actual release announcements.

They're a bit different. LaunchNotes is really strong for public updates and roadmaps, while Productboard is more about internal product management.
